For these, Mr. Smith will propose a course of action and the two of you will decide how to proceed. If the matter is more complex, Mr. Smith will review the relevant documents, statutes, rules, etc. and then contact you to discuss options and agree upon a proposed course of action. Resolving your matter quickly, without expending unnecessary resources is always the goal, and your input into the process is essential and greatly appreciated.
